Renae Jones is new to the romance writing scene, but hopes her decades of reading and wild imagination count for something. She first delved into fantasy and science fiction, then roamed into urban fantasy and sampled erotic romance, and has finally settled on romance as the perfect genre (for now). In that time, she’s also spent over a decade as a web developer—most of it in marketing departments.

She considers writing romance the most subversively enjoyable form of feminist and sex positive activism out there. She loves the opportunity to write together the weird, the cranky, the neurotic and the tragic characters that otherwise might not find love in a world of perfect heroes and heroines.

Renae currently calls Columbus, Ohio home along with her crazy princess of a dog. She’s leery of cats, religion, and jogging, and has so far successfully avoided both marriages and kids.
